About Multi Art Renovations
I build for the building, not a showroom.
If you live in a Manhattan co-op, you already know the fear: a leak into the apartment below, a board that wants insurance certificates before anyone touches a riser, a kitchen quoted from a photo that missed the gas line. I have sat in those living rooms. The finishes are the easy part. The building is the job.
I lead an in-house crew — plumbers and electricians under one contract — so your super has one number when the water shutoff moves. That is what a general contractor Manhattan (and general contractor NYC) board package is supposed to look like on paper. We file DOB permits when the scope needs them, and I read the alteration agreement before I itemize. No suburban playbook. No square-foot menu.

Bathrooms are still the call I get most. One wet room. Keep the drains and we can often finish construction in four to six weeks after the board and permits clear — not a promise, just the pattern I see. Kitchens, apartment combinations, townhouse basements, and guts sit under the same contract when that is what the unit needs.
