Custom oak kitchen bar in a Manhattan apartment: a fluted-wood face, a reeded marble panel, and a solid wood top. Multi Art Renovations built the millwork to sit between the living room and an existing white kitchen.
The challenge
The opening between living room and kitchen needed a bar that did not look like a half-wall. Fluted oak and a reeded marble inset had to line up on one face. The piece had to be furniture-grade and still take the wear of a counter.
