Chelsea Apartment Interior

The challenge

The apartment is an open plan with terrace glass on two sides. The kitchen had to disappear into the living room — dark cabinets, a stone island, a cooktop on the island — without blocking light. Bathrooms needed oak millwork and brass that matched the living-room metals. Tile joints on large-format marble-look walls show if the substrate is not flat.

The outcome

Living, dining, and kitchen now share one floor plane. The island is stone with a gas cooktop. Bathrooms have oak vanities, brass fixtures, and large-format tile. A sitting nook and dining room complete the interior. A short walkthrough video is on this page.
